St. Barnabas Celebrates 25 Years of Service in Harrisburg

Over 100 people came to celebrate this milestone with the staff and board of St. Barnabas.

Over 100 people came to celebrate this milestone with the staff and board of St. Barnabas.

The celebration was held at Goodwin Life Center Saturday, October 20, 2018. We were honored to have James Crummel, anchor of the ABC 27 News, as our Master of Ceremonies. His first job was a counselor at St. Barnabas so it was our privilege to have him return to help us celebrate.

Respect, Caring, Fairness, Responsibility, Trustworthiness, Citizenship and Forgiveness are among the 7 Pillars of Character presented by children. These are the foundation for the program here at St. Barnabas.

We were honored to have many Harrisburg dignitaries and supporters speak about the 7 Pillars of Charcter. These are the building blocks of St. Barnabas' program.

Children from the summer camp had a special presentation for everyone.

Board Members Make Activity Bags for Campers

Summer camp was cancelled due to the pandemic so board members assembled 60+ summer activity bags for campers. They were filled with many games and activities to occupy the long hot summer days.  The response was overwhelming.
